Use please internal MS Excel financial functions (like irr). MS Excel is positioned as software for doing financial calculations for home and business.
You may wish to buy the text by A.Bukhvalov and V.Bukhvalova on financial calculations with the use of MS Excel available at the cheapest price in School's bookshop.

Midterm Exam Training
Midterm is a closed book exam. You should remember just few things:
- PV, NPV, IRR
- the Gordon formula for stock valuation
- the portfolio theory (mean-variance analysis, variance of portfolio return)
- CAPM, beta and its interpretations, CML, SML
- Capital budgeting and risk, WACC

Module 3. October 19, November 2 and 9
- October 19: Midterm Exam --- closed book, two hrs, only Topic 0 problems. Midterm occupies the second part of the class and it starts at 14.45. No latecomers allowed.
You are expected to have your own calculator. No communication tools allowed.
